Entel students participate in Mock Business Competition

On the Double 11 Shopping Day, students from the International Department of our high school participated in a highly competitive business competition in the small theater. A total of 30 students participated in this activity. They respectively play the role of orchard and juice factory operators in the fruit juice industry chain, carry out the simulation operation of the company, manage the orchard juice factory, harvest fruit, make fruit juice, sell products, continue to operate, and form a healthy competitive relationship. Students will combine business theoretical knowledge with practice in the business competition, feel the real business world, and gain a lot.

This activity is based on the online operation and management system. Every 10-15 minutes, it will be a financial year, and a total of ten financial years will be contested. In each fiscal year, orchards and juice plants will conduct production, trading, industrial line upgrading and other operations. Different decisions will have different effects on the final earnings of the company, which will have an intuitive training effect on students’ theoretical mastery and practical analysis ability.

After fierce competition, the orchard and fruit juice factory teams decided on the best two teams. They made calm and reasonable decisions in response to competition and emergencies, and helped their companies earn the largest revenue in the accumulated ten fiscal years.

During the study of related courses, students have studied and analyzed the theory of economics. In this activity, they need to closely combine theory with reality, and more deeply analyze the specific reasons for market equilibrium price changes. At the same time, they also think about how to deal with market competition and emergencies in specific cases, and learn how to formulate reasonable business strategies.

In the International Department, we encourage students to apply their knowledge to real life, deepen their understanding of knowledge, and improve their ability to transfer and apply knowledge. This business competition is the epitome of the students’ daily learning model. In the fierce competition, the students’ ability to withstand pressure, time management and teamwork has also been significantly improved. We look forward to the students taking this as a starting point to make full preparations for stepping into the real business sea in the future.
