Dear students:
Please firstly allow me to wish all of our new students a happy and fulfilling life at the UF International High School Australian Program in the coming 5 semesters!
I strongly believe that the next 2 years and 2 months’high school life will not only be of your unforgettable experience of youth with warmth and comfort in your memories but also of a solid academic and psychological foundation preparing for the journey to Australian’s top universities commencing in March,2019.
As you may know,from 2009 to 2016,95% of 2,000 graduates from 8 China’s well-known UF high schools were admitted as undergraduates by Australian G-8 universities,of which are the four iconic ones of the world’s top 50 universities: the University of New South Wales (UNSW),the University of Melbourne,Sydney University and Monash University. The UF campuses within China’s 8 well-known high schools are the largest,most successful and most influential foundation brand for undergraduates’premium admission to Australian Group of Eight (G-8) universities.
Dear students,you will face challenges not only of completing all school courses within 5 semesters (six months earlier than Australian high school students to start undergraduate studies),but also of ensuring that you will achieve excellent academic performance in the global UNSW UFS examinations in the last 2 semesters of the UF core phase so as to guard the honour of our UF. In the past,present and future,I am confident in every one of you,because I strongly believe that you have great potential. As long as you are enthusiastic about life and hunger for the future,and keep faith in your goals and adhere to kindness and sincere,you will for sure be successful and satisfactory.
Your senior schoolmates have done great in UFS global examinations. Besides,among them,a student won a Top Micro Movie Prize of East China. Your senior UF schoolmates at the High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University won a Top Prize at the World’s Robot Contest in the last 2 consecutive years. Also,some others once organized ten thousand people’s participation in volunteer activities. Wu Dialect Social Club at the University of Melbourne,Chinese Modern Drama Society,Environment Protection Association and Model Club at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) have been founded by your elder UF sisters. As a matter of fact,what touched us most is that every one of UF students has formed the habit of visiting the nursing home and the children welfare center on a regular basis. Our UF students have never narrowly defined initial success of this phase as high GPA scores. As such,we honestly believe that you all will become the deserved elite,with love for your families,answerability to your friends,value to your organization and contributions to the society,and with respect for life and empathy with all sentient beings.
