On the afternoon of October 24th, Mr. Joseph Loftin, Principal of Wasatch Academy, Mr. Graham Jessee, Vice Principal and Mr. Chris Dowling, Director of China Program, once again visited the school and had a cordial meeting with Principal Xu Xiaolin and Vice Principal Chen Jihua. Six years ago, Kunshan High School and Wasatch Academy from the United States worked together and approved the provincial education department to establish a Sino-US cooperation program. At that time, Principal Xu and Joseph stood at the site of the new Kunshan High School site at the beginning of the construction. Together, they planned to think about the future of the program. Nowadays, we have a whole curriculum system, high-quality teachers’ resources and excellent graduate results, step by step, from the green to the maturity. We are also ready to deepen cooperation and open a new chapter in the Sino-US cooperation curriculum.
On behalf of the school, Principal Xu presented gifts to Principal Joseph. The gift of heartfelt gift symbolizes the long-lasting and profound friendship between the two schools.
Principal Xu and Principal Joseph on behalf of the two schools summarized the teacher planning, curriculum and graduation results of the Sino-US program in Kunshan High School in the past few years, to recognized the good school performance and social repercussions that have been achieved, discussed about the future planning, agreed on a forward-looking and feasible development goal, and a detailed new phase of cooperation plan was adopted.
After the exchanges, the principals went to the International Department to meet and share with the students about their feelings.

This is a saying that Principal Xu Xiaolin gave to the students. Principal Xu told everyone that to become a successful person, you must first have the loyalty to your home country, have the courage to take responsibility, understand self-discipline, and learn to study for life. If you want to become a competitive person in the international arena, you must not abandon these qualities that are rooted in your heart.
Principal Joseph wished everyone to stand out in the future international competition with their core competitiveness.
The two student representatives also took the stage to express and shared their feelings since they entered the International Department.
The students presented a carefully prepared gift to Principal Joseph. As Principal Xu said, which belongs to a nation also belongs to the world. We want to be a Chinese with an international vision. We will inherit and preach the mission of Chinese culture. Keeping in mind that we have roots in our hearts, and we will have the pride of exploring the world.
The meeting came to an end in a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere. The principals and foreign teachers were still unfinished, and discussions on teaching continued in the venue.
