The “cooking course” has always been “fragrant” and is most popular with students. “Cooking course” is not only the teaching of skills, but also the communication of life attitude. It is the students who hope to pursue their dreams here. They not only know how to burn for their ideals, but also learn to appreciate the spirituality and elegance of life. Sometimes life is like a cooking, cold and warm necessities. The ups and downs of each dish are the temperature of ironing my heart, the memory of my home, and the memory of my hometown after leaving.

At first, before we entered the classroom, we felt extremely conflicted. When we entered the cooking classroom, we could use a word to describe the “subversion”. The spacious classroom, the clean stove, and all kinds of kitchen equipment.

In such an environment, we not only learned how to make a variety of dishes, but also learned to keep the kitchen clean and tidy and food hygiene while cooking.

In the cooking course, we followed the teacher from theory to practice, from simple to complex. We not only learned cooking related knowledge, such as “eight cuisines”, nutrition matching, etc., but also made representative dishes such as cola chicken wings, Di San Xian, and sweet & sour pork loin with our own hands. In the process of practice, the students set up their own teams to work together, wash, cut, plane, peel, fry, stir, steam, and deep-fry, and soon they can finish a delicious dish. The division of work and cooperation also strengthened the feelings between our classmates, and exercised our ability to cooperate with each other and practice. We start to know the fun of cooking.

At the end of the semester, the teacher assigned a task to cook a table for his family. When he received the task, he was still nervous. However, after many small episodes, when I made a table of delicious dishes for my family, I was unanimously praised by the whole family and felt a sense of achievement. For the first time in life, after their parents praised them, the students said they were very moved. With the ability to take care of themselves and their families, they were finally able to take part of the family responsibilities for their parents.

Cooking is an art, and thanks to the school for providing cooking learning opportunities. Through cooking again and again, everyone seems to have found an interest in cooking. I also hope that in the days to come, there will be both distant and delicious food to prepare for the study and life after going abroad.
