On October 24, 2018, Mr. Joseph Loftin, Principal of Wasatch High School of the United States, visited the HANNU Jiangning Campus. Mr. Zhang Shimin, the principal of the HANNU Jiangning Campus, the vice principal and director of the International Department, Mr. Huang Wei, the teachers and students of the Sino-US program of the International Department and gave warm welcome to the guests. The two sides conducted in-depth friendly exchanges and negotiations on the development of the Sino-US program in the International Department, student growth and future goals. Principal Zhang Shimin and Principal Joseph Loftin communicated on the operation and concepts of their respective schools. At the same time, the two sides stated that the development of Sino-US programs will be the common goal of the development of education in the two schools. All believe that the trust and dedication of both sides will continue to make the Sino-US program continue to be successful. Vice-Principal Huang Wei said that under the current international education situation, only by continuously improving the program to meet the diversified needs of students through careful training, students will be more open-minded and have a broader vision. Zhou Qingya, from Grade 11 class 1, also the secretary of the student union, on behalf of all the students, presented a gift to the principal of Joseph Loftin. The gift was a landscape painting made by the students of the International Department. Principal Joseph Loftin said that when he returned to the United States, he would hang this landscape painting in the school building.
