Introduction to Wasatch Academy

Wasatch Academy, our American Elite High School Program partner, is a prestigious American private high school with the longest history (established in 1875) and ranking first in Utah State. We chose Wasatch Academy as our partner because of its commitment to promoting internationalization of education and its hands-on experience in collaborating with China’s elite high schools. Most of all, the headmaster and the management of Wasatch Academy has shown a great passion for helping Chinese students gain a global perspective and understanding through encouraging their critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as broadening their horizons. Over the past three years, AHEAD Education and Wasatch Academy has been working together to establish a mutual understanding about how to run an ideal American Elite High School program in China.

• Founded in 1875, Wasatch Academy is located in the middle of the beautiful state of Utah (in the city of Mount Pleasant).
• For seven consecutive years, Wasatch Academy has won Best of State in Private Schools grades K-12.
• The basketball team of the school won the championship in National Middle School Student Basketball League for several times.
• The debate team ever won the championship in the World Middle School Student Speech and Debate Contest.
• Promoting the concepts of fostering global talents and having years of cooperation experience with China’s elite schools.
