Academic Management at Ahead Education

Academic Quality

The Academic Department is responsible for the academic quality management of all AHEAD Education International Programs. AHEAD Education International Programs contain three sections: Foreign core courses, Chinese auxiliary courses, and Language courses.

1. Foreign Core Courses

Foreign core courses are provided and supervised directly by foreign partner universities and high schools. These courses are taught by foreign teachers completely in English. Our partner schools in Australia and the US take charge of the following aspects:

  • Provide textbooks, teaching materials, course outline, syllabi, teaching progress control and evaluation standards;
  • Organize mid-term and final exams, exam marking and GPA calculation;
  • Provide academic training and development for foreign teachers.

AHEAD Education’s Academic Department provides academic management for all campuses in the following aspects:

  • Academic feedback and evaluation;
  • Academic guidance and quality control by Subject Head Teachers;
  • Period quality review and analysis, as well as teaching planning;
  • Annual teachers’ workshop;
  • Professional direction and teaching evaluation for bilingual assistant teachers.

2. Chinese Auxiliary Courses

Chinese auxiliary courses include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, prerequisite subject courses, cultural courses and extension courses.

Chinese partner schools are responsible for the following function:

  • Academic management (teacher supply and teaching evaluation) of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry;
  • Academic management (teacher supply and teaching evaluation) of cultural courses;
  • Design and teacher supply of certain extension courses.

AHEAD Education’s Academic Department provides academic management for all campuses in the following aspects:

  • Syllabi creation, textbook selection and evaluation of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and prerequisite subject courses;
  • Teacher supply and academic management of prerequisite subject courses;
  • Design and teacher supply of certain extension courses.

3. Language Courses

AHEAD Academy within our Academic Department is the management center for language courses. The academy provides teachers, syllabi, textbooks, teaching plan and evaluation to all campuses. There are four types of language courses: Basic English, IELTS, TOEFL and ACT.

Educational Administration

  1. Collect, organize, screen, purchase, store and distribute teaching materials;
  2. Consolidate and apply foreign textbooks and AHEAD Education teaching materials;
  3. Plan and organize entrance exams, IELTS, TOEFL, ACT and AP exams;
  4. Ensure proper execution of global unified UFS exams, including safe and accurate receive, storage, collection and return of official exam papers;
  5. Collect, update and supply exam information;
  6. Collect and manage basic student information, update student database, and register students into foreign partner schools’ database;
  7. Maintain digital teaching materials.
