Students from the International Course Centre, high School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, demonstrated a Full Understanding and Obtained Outstanding Results in the Ninth National Business Simulation Challenge.
From 28th July to 1st August, 2017 the Ninth National Business Simulation Challenge was held at the Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel. More than three hundred students from over ten High Schools throughout China took part in this business competition.
GAO Zhenqian from the student union “Student Financial and Trade Company“ was given the opportunity to become a member of the executive committee for the Business Simulation Challenge. He acted as an Assistant Chairman of the executive committee and his role included answering questions from competitors and helping representatives during the competition. Simultaneously, he was responsible for observing and recording events, great moments, outstanding individuals and superior companies.
Fifty students including MAO Yifan and HAN Haoming formed a team. UFY student MAO Yifan , Sino-American Elite High School student WANG Zhaoxuan and five students from other schools formed the “Shengli Technology Limited Company” and won the award for ”Best Producer”. Tournament authorities pointed to the accurate position of “Shengli Technology Limited Company” and confirmed the later development of the company type. Although its fiscal year focused on the development of raw materials, the leading position was not adversely impacted.
After an uncertain start, the participants flexibly used government and media resources to their advantage allowing the company to grow and operate well. As time progressed, company growth was achieved. The company also received praise for the successful sale of both their product designs and accumulated assets.
MAO Yifan, CEO of “Shengli Technology Limited Company” had the honour of winning the “Prominent CEO” prize. Tournament authorities evaluated that MAO Yifan’s powerful organizing and operational ability was critical to the company’s development. Also, his ability to make good choices with regard to partners and develop wide communication channels led the company to an outstanding result.
Sino-American Elite High School students HAN Haoming, DING Yuxin, ZENG Qingtao, QIN Hengjun and two students from other schools formed trade simulator “SV Group”. The team ranked among the competitors with “comprehensive strength” throughout the three fiscal years and its products were widely admired.
HAN Haoming, CEO of SV Group had the honour to be awarded “Outstanding Individual”. He displayed both revolutionary ideas and the capacity to execute them. He produced excellent negotiation skills and generated wonderful team spirit.
The magnificent performance by students from the International Course Center of High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University convinced us all that our love of commerce and flexibility to respond to challenges will create better skills for a future in business.
