Dear students:
Welcome to the American UF International High School!
Please firstly allow me to wish all of our new students a happy and fulfilling life at the UF International High School American Program in the coming 6 semesters!
I strongly believe that the next 3 years’high school life will not only be of your unforgettable experience of youth with warmth and comfort in your memories but also of a solid academic and psychological foundation preparing for the journey to America’s well-known universities commencing in September, 2019.
In recent years the enrollment rate of American universities has been declining but their admission requirements are increasing. On the contrary,at AHEAD EDUCATION,our students just went against the wind as to gain a rise of university admission rate in the last three years. In the 2016 application season,100% of our students have been enrolled in American top 100 universities or other universities at the same level, and over 50% of them enrolled in American top 50 universities. I believe that, through three years’efforts, all of you will welcome a more wonderful scene in very near future.
Long-term efforts lead to success. In the coming three years,you will be facing rigorous academic challenge. Compared with ordinary high school,at our American Program,you are required to more quickly improve English language skills,to familiarize yourselves with new environment,and to try your best to finish each course. Furthermore, you are also required to explore yourself, to be strict in your studies and personal routine management, and to form the habit of regular planning and independent thinking.
We would be more concerned about your development in this program rather than just care about your academic results in the following three years or even longer time.Our outstanding graduates,as your senior schoolmates,have never narrowly defined this initial success as high scores.They have been actively involved in all types of school activities,community volunteer work in their local cities,and national and world-class academic,scientific and technological competitions in the past years.We honestly believe that,through this kind of practice and hard work,they all will become the deserved elite,who have love for their families,answerability to their friends,value to their organizations and contributions to the society,and who respect life and benefit the people of their place.And so will your future!
From accumulation of knowledge to maturity of personality,from solid standardized examinations to decisions in university applications,all of you must keep on learning,perceiving,identifying and decision-making.Accordingly,you will benefit from these experiences in your earlier entry into universities or even in your future life,and become calmer and more confident in yourself.
I have firmly trusted every one of you all the time as I know well about your great potential. As long as you are enthusiastic about life and hunger for the future,to keep faith in your goals,to have appropriate approaches and be persistent on your work,as well as adhere to kindness and sincere,you will for sure be successful and satisfactory.

Dear Students and Families:
As the Head of Wasatch Academy and in recognition of what will be our 142nd year of educating bright and talented students from all over the world. I am delighted to officially welcome you to the school year of 2016-2017 Wasatch Academy Diploma Program!
As we gear up for what will no doubt be an exciting, challenging, rewarding year of education, I wish to thank you for your interest in the program and for all of the hard work that you have made in competing for the enrollment and of the energy that you will put into the study of American curriculum!
Students, as you work with your dedicated and talented teachers to grow your English proficiency for test-taking and academic acquisition, your mastery of your core subjects, and what is more important – your higher order of thinking skills. With three year’s diligent and productive work, you will find yourselves well prepared to move on to the next level, the higher education, and to step into roles of leadership in your careers. Your future is bright with roads being tough, and the efforts you put into today will pay out a significant return tomorrow!
I would also thank all the families for taking such an active interest, investment, and participation in your child’s education. Your children’s appreciation for all your support and sacrifices will grow and stay with them for a lifetime!
